Quins Win in North Carolina

The Pittsburgh Harlequins travelled to North Carolina this weekend to beat the Raleigh Vipers Rugby Club 32-24.  Raleigh, 1-3 in League play, is coming off a 37-18 win over Media on October13th.

The Harlequins were happy to come away with the win on the road with several key players unable to travel.  With the win the Harlequins improve to 4-1, and stay in the hunt for first place in likely the final year of MARFU competition.

Elsewhere in the league the Maryland Exiles improved to 5-0 with a second half comeback against NOVA 17-10.  This matchup could likely determine who takes home field advantage into the playoffs in the Spring and who will need to travel to the Northeast to play a team from Boston.

Mathematically at the top of the League leader board is the Potomac Athletic Club, who improved to 5-0-1 with a win over struggling Media RFC.
