Quins at Home Saturday against NOVA

The Pittsburgh Harlequins return to Pittsburgh this week to face the NOVA rugby club from the suburbs of Washington DC.  The Quins are looking to get another win before the winter break, having just lost a very close game on the road to the League leaders Baltimore-Chesapeak.  The Harlequins have had good success at home, but like many in the Mid-Atlantic- including some of the top contenders, have been challenged on the road.  NOVA is coming off a loss at home against the Raleigh Vipers, but Harlequins Captain Nick Koon commented, “We aren’t taking anything for granted.”  “It has been a volatile season for all the teams in the league, and anything can happen from week to week- We have a ton of respect for the NOVA Rugby Club.”
The game kicks off this Saturday at 1:00pm, Founders Field. All are welcome for the final home game of the fall.  The Harlequins next game will be March 8th in Washington DC against PAC.  They will return to Pittsburgh for a game against Schuylkill river March 15th, location will be determined by local weather.
