The Harlequins were determined to bounce back from their first loss of the season as they beat the visiting Charlotte RFC following their league bye week. The Quins came out of the gates quickly posting a score of 24-8 at halftime in this league friendly match. Following halftime, the Quins deferred their conversions to have ball in hand and to speed up the game. This tactical decision proved worthy as the running game showed vast improvement from the beginning of the season. As the final whistle blew, the Quins were on top 44-8.

Strong individual performances from scrumhalf, Jon Casile, inside center, Zach Schell, forward lock, Ryan Logue, openside flanker, Geoff Jordan, and hooker, Chuck Mohan, led the Quins on the day.

Thanks to Charlotte for another great match. Good luck the rest of the season.

The Harlequins look to the Schuylkill River Exiles next weekend as they continue their MARFU Championship Divisional season in the annual Eric Pelly Memorial Cup. Kickoff begins at 1:00pm. The Quins will also be hosting the first annual Rugby for Life alumni weekend starting this Thursday following practice.

Please come and support the Quins next weekend as we honor the memory of Eric Pelly and take on our counterparts from the Philadelphia area. See you all at the pitch.
