The Pittsburgh Harlequins travel to Suburban Washington DC this Saturday to take on the Maryland Exiles Rugby Club.  The Exiles are a member of the Capital GU rugby league, part of the Mid Atlantic Conference of USA Rugby.  The Harlequins got off to a rocky start at home last weekend, falling to traveling Norfolk Blues Rugby Club.  Coach Coqui Moreno is confident in his young team, and is giving new players looks in different positions, as well as focusing on strengths and patterns.

The Maryland Exiles Rugby Club formed in 1993 when three local clubs joined together: the Maryland Old Boys (MOB); Old Red Rugby Club; and Montgomery County Rugby Club. MOB competed in the Potomac Rugby Union’s Division I since it was founded in the early 1970s.

The Harlequins kickoff Saturday at Burning Tree Elementary School at 2:00pm September 14th.  The address is 7904 Beechtree Road Bethesda, MD 20817.
