Quins win in Philadelphia against the Media RFC 36-25

Submitted by geoff (not verified) on Sun, 10/10/2010 – 12:39pm.

The Harlequins traveled to the “city of brotherly love” to face the current MARFU champs, Media RFC. The Quins started on all cylinders and got on the scoreboard early with three penalty goals behind the foot of inside center Nick Koon.

The Quins ended the first half 10-9 to the home team but came right out of the gates in the second half and kept racking up the penalty goals behind Nick Koon. With Media barking down the Quins in goal area several times in the second half, they were able hold the home side to two tries and a penalty goal with solid defense. The Quins were able to counter with three converted tries of their own and when  the final whistle blew, the Quins were on top 36-25.
