Challenge Cup Rugby Tournament

Founders Field is the host site for 6th Annual Challenge Cup U-19 and U-17 regional All-Star Tournament. This event will allow the top local high school rugby talent to compete with elite level players from around the country. 15 teams, primarily from the Northeastern United States will compete for two days, hoping to showcase players to National Team Selectors.

THE POTOMAC RUGBY FOUNDATION is a non-profit organization with vision and purpose that promotes, develops and preserves rugby football in the Mid-Atlantic Region. The Foundation is proud to host the 6th Annual Challenge Cup Regional All-Star Tournament. This event is the perfect opportunity for LAU’s and SBRO’s to test themselves against other teams from throughout the United States. Attended by teams from New York, Texas, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, and others over the past four years; the event has gained the attention of the Selectors and Coaches at USA Rugby (www.usarugby.org), with many invitations to the National Camp coming from the direct observations of National Team Coaches. The Pittsburgh Harlequins are proud to be partnering with the PRF, and will host the event at their world class rugby training facility 20 minutes from Downtown Pittsburgh, PA.
